Steeped in tradition, the Prime is the archetype of what a full-size 1911 is all about; everything you need and nothing you don’t.  These pistols start with forged 4140 steel frames and billet slides with oversized rails and then they are hand-fit by our gunsmiths to ensure a tight frame-to-slide fit and optimum performance.   The addition of the trigger guard undercut allows the shooter to have a higher grip purchase than on traditional 1911 frames without changing the classic lines of the pistol.
